Sunday
We are a church family that consists of people right across the age range, from young families with pre-school and primary aged children right up to those in their nineties.
Our ethos, for want of a better word, is evangelical charismatic and a number of us have been influenced by such movements as New Wine, FaithCamp and more recently RiverCamp. We place a high value on our worship and our desire is that it brings us into a place of intimacy with the presence of God. We want to be open to the Spirit’s leading in our worship and to be joyous and passionate. Above all, we want to honour the name of Jesus Christ when we meet together.
Worship begins at 11am every Sunday
We are blessed by several talented musicians who lead us with modern music and songs. Some weeks we will have a full music group, whilst on other occasions the music will be quieter and will be led by one or two of our musicians.
The worship team is led by Philip and Debbie Ansell and they welcome musicians of varying talent that have a heart for worship.
The children & youth stay in the main service for the first 20 minutes or so, after which they go to their own age related activities. The exception to this is on the 3rd Sunday, which is the all-age service and they stay for the duration of the service.
At the end of each service refreshments are served and people are encouraged to stay for coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cakes.
Prayer ministry is offered after each service at the front of church. Those from the prayer ministry team are always happy to pray with and for people.
